Cut a avocado in half and remove the pit. Scoop out the flesh and mash together with a little bit of your baby’s usual milk, until desired consistency.
I freeze avocado all the time for my baby. It doesn’t turn brown in the freezer at all. Can you tell me where you read that you can’t freeze avocado?
I am not sure where I read it…but I think it is because of the browning issue and possibly the consistency changes a bit. Everything I read is that freezing doesn’t change the nutritional aspect. Bananas are another one that “isn’t one to freeze”, but I do and it comes out fine. Babies don’t know that it has browned and the flavor is the same.
I freeze these fruit all the time. Super baby foods says it is ok. I follow their book as far as the food list in the back. It has been soo helpful for me!
