Baby Food Carrot Recipe

  1. 1 lb. of carrots
  2. Steam until tender
  3. approx. 1/4 c. of water
  4. Puree carrots and slowly add water until it makes puree the equivalent to stage 1 (Gerber).

Yield: 15 oz. (15 ice cubes=30 T)

    I am loving your site so far. One question/comment – this is the first “recipe” for carrots I have seen where you don’t cook them first. How well do they puree when raw?

      Thanks for catching an editorial mistake…yeah I steam the carrots before pureeing them. Thanks for catching that mistake : ). I bet I won’t make any more either : )!
