Changes are a comin’ . . .
So, you might have already noticed that I have made some changes around here. . . there are more coming. I hope that you like them. After doing a blog for 5 months you start to notice things that you like and things that you don’t like so much. And if you are like me, you just like to “rearrange the furniture” ever now and then too. For those of you that HATE change, sorry. I will try not to confuse you too much.
For now, we will start off slowly. You should have noticed by now that each of the posts have a “print this post” link at the top under the title. This should make for quick and easy printing of posts, coupon lists, recipes and menus. I will still be posting printable recipe cards from Google Docs as well. It just seems to be a great way for you to make adjustments as needed.
Additionally, a few months ago, we added a “short link” for posts. If you go to a post (look below the title on this post) you will see a short url under the post title. This is for all of you Twitter and Facebook folks who are looking for a short link. So, please feel free to use that url when you are linking to a specific post.
In the right side bar there are some new affiliates and easy links to some of my favorite coupon and savings sites. I will write a little more about each when BlogHer passes, but for now they are there for your easy use.
As we move into our next month’s menu you will start to see that I will break out the monthly menu instructions and other resources as well as offer you the long “all in one” post. I will also start breaking out the Meijer and Kroger sales ads based on our grocery list each week instead of putting them in the same post.
In a few weeks (when I can get my husband to help) we will make some changes to the overall setup. Hopefully, it will make it quicker and easier for you to find what you are looking for. Thanks for your patience during this time period.
