Next week is the biggest retail shopping week of the year! Too bad I will be sitting at home watching it all fly by. Who am I kidding? I will still be warm and snug in my bed while you people are out bearing the elements at 5 am for crazy gift deals.
Oh, but I really wish I could go. There is something about all that craziness that simply jumps start my Christmas mood and spirit. I really think it is less of the shopping and more of the running around like lunatics with my mom and sister that put me in the Christmas spirit. But alas, at 9 months pregnant it just isn’t going to happen. So I will be joining the cyber junkies for great deals this year. We will see how that goes.
At any rate, whether you are shopping for yourself or you know someone who does once a month cooking, here is a list of helpful items for that endeavor. It is simply a suggested list, not a must. Okay, large mixing bowls are a must! But at any rate, you get the idea. When someone writes to ask what equipment is needed/helpful, this is where I point them. Hopefully it will help you think through potential bargains this week!

I know it sounds silly, but I need a new can opener for opening all those canned goods that are so handy for OAMC. I used to have an OXO one that clamped shut while it was in use, but it got icky and was tossed. Now I have an el cheapo one. It’s getting dull. Besides, I’m really tired of it. I should just go buy myself a new one, but I’m hoping Santa will get me one instead.
Thanks a lotI really liked reading this. It makes me want to create my own blog! Just what subject though? I am a dentist by profession but cannot imagine most people wanting to read about dentistry? Maybe I am wrong! Latia
You might actually be wrong, I would want to know about dentistry. If you could write it from a “regular” persons angle instead of all the technical jargon.
My favorite gift to give during Christmas day is a fruit basket with toys and gift certificates. they can really put a smile on someone’s face~,-
