Cinnamon Apple Pancakes
I have learned serving a large brood of my own kids, as well as daycare kids, takes a lot of pre-planning and patience. While catering to each child’s wants for every meal isn’t an option, but finding something that will please all of their taste buds is. And these pancakes totally fit the bill! With a slight hint of cinnamon, the classic taste of warm apple, these breakfast pancakes topped with a little bit of syrup are a crowd (or brood) pleaser!

Hi there, when you say “complete pancake mix” does that mean we should create the pancake batter according to the box directions and then add the additional items in the recipe above? Thank you!
Kelly – Complete pancake mix – in meaning like a bisquick type pancake mix. Then follow the instructions on the recipe. Good question – thanks for asking!
Made this for breakfast today and thought it was great. I needed to add a little more water though (about 1/3cup).
why do you use water instead of milk?
just curious.
Andrea-
When using the complete pancake mix, the typical wet ingredient it calls for is water. You would probably be fine to sub with milk.
I frequently substitute water for milk in recipes.
The recipe on the site for pancake mix, can that be used in this recipe?
Yes it would be great!
Could I used apple sauce that is drained of excess liquid instead of chopping the apples?
Sure you can! Let us know how it turns out!
