CVS Score
It is ALWAYS a good week when I can get some good CVS’ing in. I took Isaac with me which is always a little scary. He is really good but I have so much to manage between him, coupons, scenarios and ECB’s that it all makes me a little nervous. He can sit in the front of the cart now though so that makes things a bit easier. That, and the ladies at the checkout were not only helpful with my scenarios but they also entertained my son! SCORE! Here is what I got:
Scenario #1

Huggies Purchase
- 2 Huggies Natural Fit Size 3′s – $20.00
- 2 $5.00 off Huggies Natural Fit manu q (from last month’s coupons.com)
- 1 Huggies Wipes – $5 (the one pictured here is actually NOT the correct size, I noticed when I was doing this post and thus returned and got the correct one so that I could get the proper ECB’s)
- $.50 off Huggies Wipes
- $5 off $25 Rite Aid coupon (my store accepts competitors q)
- Used $8.98 ECB’s
- Total Before Coupons: $25
- Total OOP: $1.51 (earned $10 ECB’s)
Scenario #2

Pool Snacks!
I have an addiction to Caffeine Free Coke. I know there are worse things to be addicted to, so I don’t really feel that bad. I don’t drink caffeine for the most part and I only usually have one a day. So what? I get really excited when it goes on sale at CVS though.
- 3 cases Caffeine Free Coke – 3/$11
- $2 off Kroger coupon (my store accepts competitors q)
- 6 Pringles – $5.28
- 2 – $1.00 off one can of Pringles (Proctor & Gamble rebate booklet from January)
- 2 – $1.00 off 2 cans of Pringles
- 3 Reese’s Easter Candies – $6
- $1.50 off 3 Hershey’s candies
- 2 Mentos – $3.38
- 2 – $1.00 off Mentos Gum
- (I earned $1 ECB after I purchased another one in a later transaction)
- $5 off $25 Rite Aid coupon (my store accepts competitors q)
- Used $10 in ECB’s
- Total Before Coupons: $25.66
- Total OOP: $1.23 (earned $3 ECB’s)
Scenario #3

Unilever Products
This purchase will assist me in reaching my $40 of Unilever products so that I can get $20 off a ham.
- 3 Degree Deoderant’s – $7.50
- 3 – $.75 off Degree Deoderant
- 3 Dove Deoderant’s – $7.50
- 3 – $1.00 off Dove Deoderant
- 2 Advil Tablets – $7.98
- 2 – $1.00 off Advil tablets
- CVS Infant Pain Reliever – $7.29
- $5 off $25 Rite Aid coupon (my store accepts competitors q)
- $2.50 off pain reliever purchase of $10 CVS register q
- Used $15.00 in ECB’s
- Total Before Coupons: $30.27
- Total OOP: $2.47
Scenario #4

iTunes Gift Cards
I don’t get to use special coupons on these and I don’t put ECB’s towards them, but I usually try to purchase these when they have this sale going on. When else can you get a “discount” on iTunes? Next to never. And we have an Apple TV where we regularly rent movies from, this makes the purchases even cheaper.
- 3 – $15 iTunes Gift Cards
- Total OOP: $45 (earned $10 ECB’s)
Okay, that is it for this week. Here’s to hoping next week is just as good!

I don’t understand how you can be ADDICTED to CAFFEINE-FREE Coke! Maybe it’s the sugar. Mmmm…sugar…thanks for linking to my addiction though. I think I’ll wear my Mountain Dew t-shirt today now! Great work on the CVSing!
I thought you might like that
That is amazing! I have not paid attention to these posts before – but after reading this – I signed up online for the ECB card and plan to shop at CVS more often. Hopefully I can be as thrifty as you.
It takes a little time but it is WELL worth the effort and A LOT of fun. My mentor is Jenny.
And of course the ladies listed in the post near the bottom. They have a great place to see scenarios.
Oh, those itunes cards are probably a must in that mac household!!! Great job this week. I haven’t touched foot in a CVS in months…
Shame on you . . .CVS misses you!
This is probably a dumb question, but do you go back 4 different times to do 4 different transactions or will they just ring you up 4 separate times all in one trip. My local CVS has just declared that they will no longer take printed coupons at all. Thanks.
Boo on your CVS for not taking printed coupons!
Is there another one in the area that might have a different policy? And I do it all at once. I say – “Here is transaction 1,” I finish and then use the ECB’s for the next transaction. If you get the right cashier they are more than accommodating. I do let others in front of me if there is only one cashier and I have multiple transactions. I figure it is common courtesy so they aren’t waiting on me.
