Healthy Citrus Chicken Strip Recipe (Salad Topping)
Salads are a great way to include filling food when on a diet. Unfortunately, salads that are covered in cheese, dressing and other goodies could include an entire days allotment of calories. Thankfully we have a ton of options when it comes to making salads at home!
These citrus chicken strips are a great way to include flavorful protein on top of a salad while still keeping the calories and fat low. You can top it off with fresh fruit and vegetables (oranges, apple slices, and cherries will complement this recipe well). A rice vinegar and oil combination or juice from an orange can serve as a healthy, delicious dressing.
