Disney On Ice: Getting Ready for a Girls Night

My sister-in-law and niece at our New Year's Party

The great people at Mom Central contacted me about my interest in going to see Disney on Ice when it comes to the Cincinnati/Dayton area. I had to think for a bit, not because I didn’t want to go, but because my son is only 1 and would he really behave through enjoy it? Then it dawned on me that I have this wonderfully creative and imaginative niece that would probably LOVE to go see Disney on Ice!

So I made a few phone calls and we scheduled a good ole fashioned girls night – pregnant me, 2.5 year old niece and nieces pregnant mommy! Too fun!

(Side story: I got a call the day after I extended the invite to inform me that my sister-in-law had informed my niece of the upcoming event. In her excitement she insisted on trying on ALL of her princess’ outfits in succession. She then insisted that she be able to wear her Snow White outfit to Wal-Mart for errands time. And she asked if she could wear her princess costume to Disney on Ice. How cute. The picture is of her at our annual New Year’s Eve party with her mom, the theme was Disney/Pixar characters. Too cute!)

If you live in the Cincinnati or Dayton area you should consider going too. Here is more about the show that is coming to town:

We got our tickets yesterday and can’t wait. My friend and I are taking our 3 year old daughters. I’m sure they will dress up as well. Pretty much a girls night out with my 7 month daughter in tow. However, my husband decided he didn’t want to miss out either. We greatly look forward to it! Glad to hear you recommend it!
