Disney On Ice – Recap

I mentioned recently that I was getting to treat my sister and law and niece to the Disney On Ice Show in Cincinnati courtesy of Mom Central. Well, that was Wednesday night!

Some of you will remember that I was tweeting how sick I was on Wednesday which was, in fact, the truth. However, when you have promised a 2.5 year old the opportunity to see Snow White you DO NOT back out, under any conditions. So I slept most of the day and rested up for our big ladies night out.

I was definitely not disappointed either! (And that says a lot since I was under the spell of my mucous membranes). Mom Central did a great job at the meet-n-greet and then we headed to our seats which were awesome! I’m not sure my niece knew what to think to tell you the truth. The first act she just sat there spell-bound. By the second act she had settled into everything and was clapping and singing along.

I think my favorite part of the whole evening (aside from the great show) was seeing all of the little girls running around in their princess’ outfits. Seriously, it was a sea of Ariels, Snow Whites, Tinkerbells, and much more. It was so cute!

And folks, it was a packed show. On a Wednesday night! So if you live in the Cincinnati area and are looking for a great family outing with your kids (there were great characters for boys too, not just princess’) then buy your tickets now. The discount code is still good so you can go for an affordable price (just watch your wallet on the cotton candy). :) Disney on Ice “100 Years of Magic” will be in Cincinnati through Sunday, September 27 (with three shows Saturday and two shows Sunday). Tickets can be purchased on TicketMaster, and you can get four for $44 by using the coupon code “MOM”.

Don’t just take my word for it though, these people agree:

It was nice seeing you again! I didn’t even know you were sick–sorry to hear that, and hope you are feeling better.

Your niece is adorable, and your SIL was a joy, too. She helped me identify the princesses on more than one occassion!

Thanks for the bloggy shout-out, too.

You know what is weird….I went to a Disney on Ice show just two weeks ago in Fl and saw neither of the characters you posted. Obviously different show but curious to me none the less.
