As part of my personal Get Real journey, I’m adapting some of our family favorite store-bought condiments into homemade recipes. The kids love Picante Salsa, so I searched around and found this Copycat Picante Salsa on Pinterest. The original recipe is for a copycat of a thin picante, but since we prefer a thick and chunky version, I’ve adapted it to use diced tomatoes instead of tomato sauce and added a green bell pepper and an extra onion.
