Exciting NEW Once A Month Mom Resource!
I’m excited to present to you yet another resource for your Once a Month (OAMC) cooking days! PRINTABLE LABELS! Yes, that’s right! No more writing instructions on foil and plastic bags all day long! No more carpal tunnel! (Sorry to those that have already completed their cooking day this month. Please note that we will make these labels available at the first of every month from now on!)
I have taken the instructions for the serving day and made them into printable labels for you! I used one of the great templates found at Avery 8163 or an equivalent. There are 5 labels for each item that we make. Usually we are only making 4 casseroles or 4 gallon size bag fulls but I included one extra in case there are “accidents”. If you use more than that you will need to print the page more than once.
I hope you find these to be helpful! I am not exactly how sure these labels will stick to the foil but we are going to try it for this month. Also, remember that you will want to try to remove the label from any foil objects that you are sticking in the oven, wouldn’t want the label to catch on fire!
Enjoy!

Ok, this is wonderful. But I’m a dork and I can’t figure out how to print them. HALP!
hit the print icon on google docs (upper left corner of toolbar). Mine then opens a printer window and lets me print.
wow That is great!!!! Thanks
I’d like to save them and use them again in the future but not have to come back to search the archives to find them. When I try to export them (it gives me the option to export to Excel) but the formatting is all messed up when the Excel window opens. Any suggestions?
I also placed them with the March Menu post where the recipe, directions, and grocery list are at! I will work on looking into the formatting issue.
Y E A H !!!!!!!
Just a warning…The last time I tried to use labels, they came off in the freezer. They stuck to the bags/containers just long enough for them to freeze and fell off the first time I moved them.
I was wondering about that, but we will see! I sure loved not having to write everything out!
