Finer Things Friday: Yesterday’s Birthday Celebration
This should also probably be named, Lazy Things Friday. I didn’t plan ahead for a post for today and I promised myself yesterday (you know, my birthday) that I would only do the things that I absolutely loved and didn’t feel like work. Writing a post felt like work yesterday. So I didn’t do it.
It was really quite uneventful since the real celebration is happening next week when hubby could arrange all of the circumstances. I am anticipating that it is quite the celebration by the level of hubby’s excitement. I can’t wait.
In the meantime, the kids and I hung out and snuggled all day. Daddy came home early and we all went out to dinner at Outback for our coveted cheese fries. They did not disappoint. And then we came home and I went to bed at 8:30 pm. Seriously. I was SO. TIRED. It was awesome!
I did get one of my gifts though! And it is an exciting one. . . So here are some pics we practiced taking last evening. I say practice because I got a new lens to use with hubby’s Canon 10D – Yippee! I am so excited to dive into more food photography. Which means hopefully you will start seeing some improvements in food photos and hence your desire to make my yummy new recipes.
