Frozen Fruit Cups
When I was scavenging for recipes some time back I ran across a recipe for Chilled Fruit Cups at Real Mom Kitchen. Given my new desire to experiment and some inspiration to earn more points through the Tropicana Juicy Rewards program, I decided to make some adaptions to this recipe using some of my favorite products (I can’t leave our DOLE Frozen Fruit).
These make a great breakfast treat, mid-afternoon cool down treat or late night “I need a sweet fix” treat. I have been eating them at night as a before bed snack and loving them. To be honest, I have been craving them. They are just the right balance of sweet for me. Give them a try yourself, I am sure your kids will love them too!
**Disclosure: Once upon a time I worked on a Tropicana campaign and DOLE Frozen Fruit has been a sponsor of a Once A Month Mom Contest. However, this recipe is not a product of either of those campaigns. It is a recipe I came up with on my own to facilitate my love for the products.

Yum! These would make great smoothie starters as well! Just throw this in the blender with a little vanilla yogurt! Delish!
Looks good! What did you use for your cups?
See my answer to Angela.
What type/size containers are you using for these?
Ziploc 8oz! Good question.
YUM! Those look so good. Maybe I could freeze them in Libbie’s little bowls since she doesn’t use them too much anymore.
These are so good. I’ve used just the little flimsy white plastic cups before, filled about half-full (or half-empty depending on your day). Good for stacking and putting a bunch in a ziplock bag and storing.
Also wanted to add for the midnight snack cravings you can put it into the microwave about 15 seconds to thaw “just enough.”
I probably need to add a flash froze the cups on cookie sheets and THEN stacked them into ziplock bags.
These look perfect for a quick snack or side dish..will definitely be making these and keeping them on hand for the summer!
These look great. My family loves fruit and this would be a fun way to serve it. I love the smoothie starter idea!

Making these tonight, but just noticed that they need to be removed from the freezer 45 minutes before serving! Will be a lesson in patience for my toddlers!!!
Yum! Just made this and popping them in the freezer now. Instead of sugar, I substituted Splenda Sugar Blend and it’s plenty sweet. Think my boys are going to love these. Thank you!
OOO, my freezer is out of those. And I LOVE them. I might need to fix that soon or stop by your house!
Haha! I’ve hidden them because I have a feeling if I don’t dole them out on MY schedule, they’ll be gone quickly.
I blended a few of these with milk this morning to make smoothies. VERY yummy!
I made this last weekend and they are a huge hit in my
house! I’ve gone through almost 30 of them since Sunday (I think
the two that eat them the most are my husband and I…the kids have
had a few) I take two to work every day one for mid morning snack
and one for mid afternoon snack. Looks like I’ll be whipping up
another batch tomorrow. Thanks for the recipe!
They really are a tasty (and healthy) snack! So glad you are enjoying them!

How many does this recipe make? They look delicious but I’d love to know so that I can be prepared with storage containers!
The servings are listed at the bottom – 16, that is the number of containers you will need.
