Get Started: Using Ziplist
Months and months ago we added a little blue button to recipes that you may or may not be using. If you aren’t using it, you should. It is your one click method for adding your favorite recipes on Once a Month Mom to a recipe box and/or shopping list.
I currently have a weekly shopping list set up on my Ziplist that I regularly add recipes to so I can both check my pantry and survive the grocery store without forgetting key items.
You can print your Ziplist grocery list or if you have an iPhone or Android you can get it right on your phone as they have a great application. I love having my grocery list at my fingertips because if I have to rely on printing it I am going to forget the list SOMEWHERE 9 times out of 10. Now my biggest challenge is convincing my toddler that I need my phone at the grocery store more than she does! And she is persuasive.
Here is a quick glance on how to get started with Ziplist for Once A Month Mom recipes and how to get a FREE account if you haven’t already done so. There are also tons of other bloggers, perhaps your favorites, using Ziplist too making your grocery shopping that much easier.

I recently started using Ziplist and LOVE it! Thanks for the info! The only thing that I can’t figure out is how to send my list from either my iphone or the web to my dh’s non-smart phone so he can go to the grocery store with the list. Would beat trying to print it out!
I LOVE ziplist!! My favorite part is the recipe clipper. I can pull any recipe from any website and put it directly in my recipe box. Super convenient.
Ziplist + OAMM = Happiness
Thank you so much for the wonderful resources you provide, and a great tool to help utilize all the information.
I don’t know how I got along before ziplist. Love the app as well, always have my list with me on my phone.
How do you put the whole January 2012 OAMM on ziplist? Do I have to click each recipe individually or is there a way to add them at once?
There is not a way to add them all at once – this tutorial will tell you how you can do it for your menu – http://onceamonthmom.com/get-started-creating-a-custom-grocery-list/
I like the ziplist, but not all recipes have the ziplist button. Some of the recipes are linked to the website they came from, not to a page on the OAMM website. Those recipes don’t have a ziplist button. How do I add those to my ziplist?
