Gluten Free Dairy Free Sweet and Sour Meatballs
Holiday parties are sometimes a source of stress when you are on a restricted diet. I know that I always have one eye on my daughter to make sure she is not going to eat something and pay for it later! These meatballs are a wonderful dinner but can also be taken in a crock pot to a holiday party.
Gluten Free Dairy Free Sweet & Sour Meatballs

- 28 ounce package frozen meatballs (gluten free dairy free) or make your own
- 15 ounce can pineapple tidbits, drained
- 1 green pepper, diced
- 1 onion, cut into chunks
- 0.5 cup ketchup
- 0.5 cup vinegar (cider or white)
- 2 Tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 Tablespoons gluten free soy sauce
- 0.5 cup brown sugar
- 8 ounces water chestnuts, chopped
Place meatballs in crockpot. Combine remaining ingredients in a small bowl and pour over meatballs. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
Can be frozen before placing in crockpot. Place all ingredients in freezer bag. Remove as much air as possible, label, and seal. To serve: Thaw. Place contents of bag in crockpot. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
