Gluten Free Dairy Free Teriyaki Burgers

Need something different than the same old burger?  Gluten Free Dairy Free Teriyaki Burgers might be just what you are looking for.  With the tangy-sweet flavor of soy sauce, the bite of ginger and the savoriness of garlic, this burger is a winner for your next barbecue.  I like to serve it with Napa Cabbage Slaw or Cilantro Cashew Salad.

Gluten Free Dairy Free Teriyaki Burgers

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/4 cup gluten free soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup green onions/scallions, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced

Directions:

Mix all ingredients together and form into the indicated number of burgers.  Cook in a skillet or grill until cooked through.

Freezing Directions:

After shaping burgers and before cooking them, freeze patties on a plastic wrap lined baking sheet until frozen. Divide frozen patties into the number of freezer bags indicated, separated by waxed paper. Remove as much air as possible, seal, label and freeze.

To serve: Thaw. Cook in a skillet or grill until cooked through.
