I just finished my first OAMC day! Wow! It was incredible. The September menu was superb. Everything was delicious and flavourful. We had 6 ladies in the kitchen today and we cooked all the items in 5 hours. Your system had us working like a fine oiled machine, and has gotten us all so excited for October’s cooking day! Thank you so much!
Oh, quick question…
For those of us in Canada, what are the chances of future menus using the metric system for measurements (Kg, g, mL, etc.)? We definitely over-bought on some items because of guestimating the conversions.
For those of you interested to do the entire September menu, living in somewhat rural northwest canada (higher cost of groceries etc.) it cost us $520. Not too bad in the grand scheme of things, but next time will be better as we will have a better idea of what items to stock up on etc.
I will try to provide some conversion sites for better utilization. I will put the metric system on my “dream” list for the site one day. :) Thanks for the update on how things went for you in that part of the world.
