Baby Food Green Bean Recipe

- 1 lb. frozen green beans
- 1/4 c. of water
- Steam green beans until soft.
- Puree in food processor. Then press through food mill.
- After food mill, add water slowly until desired consistency.
Yield: approximately 13 oz (stage 1 Gerber) = 13 food cubes = 25 T

Do you do the same thing with fresh green beans? Do you need to open them or snip the ends? Thanks!
snipped the ends but didn’t worry about stringing because you are going to be putting them through a mill.

What is a food mill? Will a blender or food processor work ok? Do you steam in microwave?
