What an amazing website and your instructions and attention to detail are awesome. I am pumped to give the December menu a try. My question concerns meat. Do you typically buy your hamburger and chicken when they are on sale and then freeze it and thaw to use for your OAMC day? I did not know if it was ok to freeze the meet twice or if I should just buy fresh? Thanks for your help.

I buy it ahead of time when it is on sale ONLY if it will be cooked on the day of cooking. Meats that are not cooked can be portioned into the correct size and bagged for later use or should be bought fresh and used. The instructions for the month tell you how much has to be thawed ahead of time and how much needs to be cooked, etc. For the most part, I buy the meat ahead of time. See previous months and cooking stories for suggestions on this.

I want to give this a try but it looks like it will be Jan. before I can spend that much at one time.

Are the 26 lbs. of chicken breasts needed on this months grocery list boneless or bone in? Thanks!
