Happy Birthday Swagbucks!
Swagbucks is turning 2 years old today with some great celebrations and promotions. If you have never tried Swagbucks out, today is the day start. There are lots of promotions and chances to win points.
What is Swagbucks?
It is basically a search engine like Google or Yahoo. EXCEPT when you search for things you have a chance to earn points (Swagbucks) for your searches. It is kind of like getting rewards points when you use a credit card like Discover. You simply do the searches you would normally do, but you use Swagbucks as your search engine. And of course, earn free stuff.
I’m not sure how many Swagbucks I have earned over the year that I have been a member but I know that I have redeemed my points for over $200 in Amazon gift cards! I use them to either reward myself or to save up for Christmas spending next year.
It is not a gimmic, spam or scheme (which is what I thought at first). It is a legitimate way to earn free stuff for something you are already doing, surfing the internet.
