Diet OAMM: Healthy Turkey Burger Recipe

Dieting or adjusting the types of food we eat doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy a big, juicy burger every once in a while. It just means we might need to make a few changes when we do eat one. We can load the burger up with lettuce, tomato, and pickles but skip the mayo and cheese. We can replace the fries with some steamed in-season veggies. Instead of beef, we can try making the burger with turkey. And let me tell you, I have a great turkey burger recipe for you to try. It’s so simple but chock full of flavor! Give it a try and let me know what you think!

Did I do something wrong…I used the right amounts but I had to add about a cup of panko bread crumbs in order to hold these together???

  5. Tiffany says:

I had the same problem but I’m going to assume it’s because I used “chub” (processed?) turkey rather than the stuff that actually looks like ground turkey (lol) I used two egg whites and actually had to pour in some seasoned bread crumbs to hold it together. These burgers are VERY good, though! My husband even loved them :)
