So how is everyone feeling this winter? Have you had a lot of snow and are sick of it or are you hoping to still see some more before spring finds its way to your neck of the woods? Me. I am just sick of the cold. I love some warm weather and snow is not my favorite thing. Although, I must admit that it has been a lot more tolerable when I watch my toddler’s cuteness as he explores it for the first time! And watching him play in it. Priceless. His favorite thing to do is to make snowballs with his dad and watch them melt. Thankfully he hasn’t figured out that he can use them as a weapon. I am sure that will come soon enough.

Have you seen Coke’s snowball fight commercials? I don’t watch too much television but I have even seen a few. So what is up with all the snowball throwing anyway?

Apparently, Coca-Cola is running an online parody campaign called the ‘International Federation of Snowball Throwing’ (IFST) designed to generate excitement for the upcoming Olympics.  The “IFST” the commercials and online campaign features representatives from different countries participating in a spontaneous snowball fights.

One of the aims of the campaign? To get snowball throwing as an Olympic sport! Really? Seems a little silly to me but apparently someone thinks is is sad there are no balls involved in Winter Olympic competitions.

At any rate, no matter the silliness the commercials are funny and the drink, well it is my personal favorite beverage choice (not making that up for this post either).

So if you are feeling left out of all of the snow storm hoopla that has been covering the nation head on over to snowballthrowing.com to see the campaign in action and sign the petition!
