I Hit the Motherload!

My "loot" from Krogers Mega Event this week!

My "loot" from Krogers Mega Event this week!

I had some time this week, and some interest, to put together some scenarios for Kroger’s Mega Event. It is the first week in many that the items on the Mega Event were of interest/value to me. And considering that I will be having a baby in a few short weeks, I figured it best to stock my pantry anyway.

I do not have the time to detail out for you everything that I bought, the price, and the coupons used. However, I will tell you that my total before Kroger card savings, mega event savings and coupons was $200.24. After all the discounts my bill was $75.54! That was a savings of over $124!!! I’ll take it!

For a detailed list of what to get and where to find coupons visit in the Cincinnati/Dayton for Kroger please visit Mommy Snacks or if you are in the Columbus area check out Marcy at Stretching a Buck. They make it so simple for you!

  1. Wow, you did do awesome too! You think about the toilet paper alone is more expensive. Great job, girl!

    Oh, and nice binder ;)

You and Shannan both have me beat – I saved $116.91. And my card looked about as full as yours…gotta love it when they run this promo. :-)

I participated as well today! I spent $50 and saved $75 after a minor discussion with the manager about Hormel Chili with No Beans. I only get aggravated with mine because their coupon policy is restricted-it takes some fancy steppin’!

You did great! I saved 58% on my trip today!
