“In This Corner We Have. . . .”

You should all be well informed of the Once A Month Mom & DOLE Frozen Fruit Menu Contest taking place this month. On Monday, we received the last of the entries into the contest. We were so excited to have received 16 contest entries!

Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect but was so excited that so many were up for the challenge. (If you have never attempted one they really are a lot of work). At any rate, I wanted to recognize those that made the effort to turn in a menu. And IF they have a blog PLEASE click over to their websites and give them a bit of encouragement as they wait with the rest of you for Friday, February 19th to arrive to find out if they have been chosen as one of the top 3 contenders.

Each entry was a great one and it is going to be very difficult for us judges to choose. So you all know, I have removed the names of the participants from their menus to hopefully eliminate any bias on the part of the judges. We will be judging the menus on sale items used, ease of production, variety of meals suggested and use of DOLE Frozen Fruit products.
