These are the step-by-step instructions you will need to quickly and efficiently approach your once a month (OAMC) BIG DAY by yourself! The ingredient quantities can now be found on the TODDLER FOOD 18+ Month February 2012 Recipe Cards.

Instructions

Meat used:

  • Boneless, skinless chicken breast – it can be frozen beforehand if handled properly (Chicken Pot Pie Bundles, Chicken Stix)
  • Canned tuna (St. Patrick’s Day Green Mac-n-Cheese)
  • Lean ground beef – it can be frozen beforehand if handled properly (Football Turnovers, Spaghetti with Meatballs)

Thaw (in refrigerator)

  • Boneless, skinless chicken breast – it can be frozen beforehand if handled properly (Chicken Pot Pie Bundles, Chicken Stix)
  • Lean ground beef – it can be frozen beforehand if handled properly (Football Turnovers, Spaghetti with Meatballs)

Night Before:

  • Optional (but HIGHLY recommended) – chop up all vegetables. (See Chopping Amounts sheet on Recipe Cards)

Ingredients that need CHOPPED (**indicates usually okay for food processor)

  • See Chopping Amounts Tab on the Menu Recipe Cards
1 Preheat oven to 350. Prepare and bake Fudgy Brownies (bakes for 30-35 minutes).
2 While baking, prepare Mini Veggie Frittatas.
3 After Fudgy Brownies have baked, set aside to cool.  Turn the oven up to 375 degrees
4 While baking Mini Veggie Frittatas (bakes for 15 minutes), prepare cherry tomatoes for Roasted Tomato Soup with Croutons.
5 After Mini Veggie Frittatas have baked, set aside to cool.  Turn the oven up to 400 degrees
6 Roast cherry tomatoes (roasts for about 45 minutes) for Roasted Tomato Soup with Croutons.  While roasting cherry tomatoes, prepare Grilled Cheese Croutons and Green Mac-n-Cheese.
7 After cherry tomatoes have finished roasting, finish preparing Roasted Tomato Soup.  Turn the oven up to 450 degrees.
8 Prepare and bake (bakes for 10-12 minutes) Homemade Poptarts.
9 After Homemade Poptarts have baked, set aside to cool.  Turn off oven.
10 Prepare and set aside to cool No-Bake Chewy Granola Bars.
11 Prepare and freeze Chicken Pot Pie Bundles.
12 Prepare and freeze Football Turnovers.
13 Package and freeze:

  • Fudgy Brownies
  • Mini Veggie Frittatas
  • Roasted Tomato Soup with Grilled Cheese Croutons
  • Homemade Poptarts
  • No-Bake Chewy Granola Bars
14 Prepare and freeze Cheddar Coins.
15 Prepare and freeze Balls of Energy.
16 Prepare and freeze Green Supreme Smoothies.
17 Prepare and freeze Spaghetti with Meatballs.
18 Prepare and freeze Chicken Stix.
19 Kitchen Cleanup!
20 Congratulations you are DONE!!!!!
