‘Lil E Proves Me Wrong…
Okay, so when I posted the “Get Started” Giveaway (which you still can register for by the way), one way you could register was to give a funny baby food story. I love to hear these types of stories because my oldest, Evan, never really had any of those “funny” moments eating and Carter my youngest just started to eat solids. Evan has always took eating seriously and never really played around with his food. He must have known that I needed a good story to share with all of you since you all have shared some pretty funny ones with me.
Tonight after dinner, both boys and my husband were sitting at the table. Evan and daddy were eating Trader Jo-Jos (Trader Joe’s Oreos). Jeremy was feeding Carter his veggies for the night and I was in the kitchen trying to wash bottles since all 10 of them were dirty (I know, but it has been one of those weeks). I peeked in and Evan had the usual chocolate ring around his mouth that most toddlers get when they eat something messy. We joked about it for a moment, then I went back to washing bottles and happened to glance in the dining room again, and to my dismay, Evan was rubbing one half of the Jo-Jo all over his face (of course it was the half that had the chocolate filling on it). Jeremy had looked away to give Carter another bite of food when this happened so when he heard my gasp, he looked over at Evan and both of us started laughing hystarically. So what happens when mom and dad start laughing at a toddler, you guessed it, Evan started rubbing it more and started to laugh also. So of course, being a bloggy mom, I ran to get my camera.
Thanks Evan for giving me a story to share with everyone. You always pull through for me. Enjoy the pics! They are a little blurry but I took them on my phone since the camera was upstairs.
