Meijer Deals on Baby Food Items

Okay, so yesterday I ran out of homemade baby food. Along with this I have been trying to figure out how to transport homemade baby food as easily as store bought. Since I haven’t figured it out yet and I was desperate, I ran over to Meijers. I went to Meijers because I had a couple of coupons that were getting ready to expire.  This is what I bought:

• Meijer Organic Frozen Veggies $2.42 each. I bought 4 bags (green beans, peas, corn and spinach) for the Baby Food Big Day.  This price isn’t that great since I usually go to Trader Joe’s for my Organic Frozen Veggies at $1.99 each. But I did have some pretty good coupons.

$1.50 off 2 Meijer Organic Products (register receipt coupon)

$1.00 off 4 Meijer Organic Products (register receipt coupon)

I was able to use both coupons so the final price per bag was $1.79.

• Beechnut Stage 2 Baby Food (4 oz.) on sale for $4/10 (thru 2/21.)

$1.00 off 10.

Total after coupons $3/10 (7.5¢/oz)

• I also had a Meijer register receipt coupon for $1.00 off a purchase of $10.00.

I will be making enough baby food tomorrow to last until our Big Day in a couple of weeks (date hasn’t quite been determined yet but I will let you know).
