This happened to me when I was pregnant with my second (baby is now 9 months) and I'm pregnant again so I'm praying it won't come back. I know how you feel! It’s horrible! But I never could just get up and go do something until I fell asleep, like watch TV or clean, because before I new it I was up for hours. I don't know if this will work for you but it did for me... when my legs would wake me up, I would walk up and down our hallway really slowly exaggerating my steps. I would go through every motion slowly (lifting up your knee really high, pushing it out to the floor, and then bringing your heel to your butt). After like 3 or 4 turns down my hallway, maybe 5 mins, I could fall asleep. It sounds goofy but it worked for me. Hang in there!

I work at WalMart and we have a homeopathic remedy that I use regularly called "Restful Legs" by Hyland that works great!!! Otherwise I feel like I have been running all night, can't keep them from moving. It only costs about 5 bucks for 50 tablets. You melt a couple under your tongue and most nights, I don't even remember when I finally feel asleep. Just a thought.

I had this too. Drove me crazy. I would go to be like normal each night and then wake up at 2 am unable to sleep. I would get up and watch The World Series of Poker which was on each morning on NBC. Not very interesting. At 4 am a slightly better news program would come on, and then the local news...

For me (and I'm only 24 weeks), after a couple nights on not sleeping good, I'll eventually get a good night's sleep. Yesterday I was SO T.I.R.E.D and could NOT fall asleep when I went to take a morning nap. I don't know what it is. I hope you're able to get some good sleep soon! I agree, it's not so fun.
