My Blissdom Wardrobe!
Have I mentioned that at the last minute, again, I have decided to attend Blissdom? Originally I thought Tessa would be too young to even think about going. However, she will be 7 weeks old (yes, still pretty young by most standards. Actually, come to think of it I think that she will be the youngest attendee. I grow them young!) and my husband was very encouraging a few weeks ago about me attending. He even had the crazy notion to suggest I leave both kids with him for the weekend. Ha! I love him too much to do that to him. And thankfully Blissdom is baby friendly which makes it a no-brainer to take her with me.
So all around the blogosphere women are talking about what they are going to wear to the conference. They are spending lots of money getting their eyebrows, nails and hair done. They are awake at night wondering what other women will be wearing and whether they will be dressed appropriately. Their nerves are on edge.
I know because that was me last year. I was 4 months post-partum and hadn’t yet achieved my pre-pregnancy weight which meant that I had to buy new outfits because nothing other than my pajama pants fit.
And this year? This year I know better than to worry. No one cared what I was wearing. I didn’t care what I was wearing as long as it wasn’t giving my feet blisters. And well, maybe it is because these will be the items I am wearing the entire conference:
Really, with either of these on no one will be seeing what I am wearing. And, honestly, with this cuteness in my arms (or on my torso) who will EVER notice me? I won’t get more than a passing glance. And I am certain no one will remember what I was wearing, unless of course we have a projectile vomiting episode. In which case I can guarantee that I won’t be forgotten!
So I am relaxing and going comfortable. And when asked what I am wearing for Blissdom, I politely respond, “Tessa.”
**I should mention that I am in the process of reviewing both products and plan to report back to all of you my feelings after the conference. I am sure both will get MUCH use!

LOVE your wardrobe :) I just found out my SIL will be attending Blissdom thru her company (a social-media marketing co in AR)..I told her to tell you I love your blog if she got to meet you in person :)!
Have you had a chance to use your Moby yet? do you love it? btw, Tessa is absolutely adorable!
Send me her name and company name in an email so I can try to find her. I have tried the Moby a couple times but am still trying to work out its functioning. I will write more when I return as I will have plenty of practice. Thanks for the comments on my precious bundle!
Oh, do you like your moby wrap? I am due in 7 weeks and have been debating one. We had a more traditional carrier with my son and hated it.
I definitely like it more than the traditional characters. I will be reporting my feelings about both after I return from Blissdom. Stay tuned! :)
No one else will be able to match the beauty you’ll be ‘wearing’. Have a wonderful time, both of you!
Good Luck at the conference. I didn’t have a wrap with my first kiddo, but used the Moby wrap with my 2nd. I absolutely loved it! It made handling 2 kids much easier and he liked to curl up in a ball and go to sleep.
I would not recommend trying to pick up a watermelon at the grocery store while your kids is in the moby wrap….but I had that problem too when he was in the womb!
Hope you have a great time.
