New Menu up for 8+ months

Okay, so as promised, I finally got around to making this menu. Carter STILL has food from the last cooking day, but we were getting low on dinners and my wonderful husband watched the kids today so that I could “create”. Which by the way, he laughs at, because I HATE cooking. I swear, Carter thinks all he has to do is give me a few giggles and grins and I will do ANYTHING for him. Oh wait, that is all he has to do and I will do ANYTHING for him – ha ha. What I tried to do was just think of combinations that I would like. Not too hard really! And they all turned out really good. Yes, I tried each and every one of them and also gave Carter a sneak peek. Each dinner recipe has Carter’s Seal of approval.

All right, so by now, most of you know your kids likes and dislikes. I would recommend making several of those fruits and veggies that are their favorites but his month add a few new ones. These are the ones I will be trying this month:

Fruits:

The ol’ stand by’s: apples, peaches, bananas, avocados, pears, blueberries

These are the new ones I am trying:

Apple, Kiwi and Pear

Peach, Apple and Strawberry

Veggies:

The ol’ stand by’s: Peas, Sweet Potato, Carrots, Green Beans, spinach, parsnips

New one I am trying:

Cheesy Tomato and Cauliflower

Dinners:

Chicken and Veggies II (8+ months)

Beef and Veggies (8+ months)

Chicken with Sweet Potatoes and Apples (8+ months)

Ham, Pineapple, Peach and Apple Puree (8+ months)

I’m so excited to find this web site! I read $5 Dinners and love it as well. I have an 8-month-old Carter and I can’t wait to try these recipes! Thanks so much for posting them… they are going to be a big help and so much fun.
