OAMM Saturday Stumbles – April 10th

By now you are learning my love of the sisterchicks. And Mandi at It’s Come to This has a Saturday linky for posts you have stumbled during the week called Saturday Stumbles. Until yesterday I was digging my heals in ignoring refusing not on Stumble Upon yet. I just can’t figure out how I am going to have time for it. It isn’t because I don’t want to do it. At any rate, the sisterchicks talked me into it! So I figured I would also start giving Mandi some linky love on the weekends as well.

My plan is to highlight Once A Month Mom’s around the internet. That will be the highlight on all weeks. Unless, of course, no one decides to write about their Once A Month Mom experiences. I will also highlight some other once a month cooks that I run into along the way. And lastly, if I have time, I will bring you some of my other favorite recipes and posts from the week. Hopefully I will Stumble Upon you during the week!

• Hannah at That [Officer's] Wife made the Homemade Pop Tarts and took some GREAT photos along the way. They look so yummy I might just have to go make more for my freezer.
• Suzzy at The Recipe Mission republishes the Black Bean Salsa Chicken recipe that she found on the February 2010 menu
• Rosie at The Thornbeck Family talks about her experience freezer cooking chicken thighs that she found on sale. You don’t have to do OAMM menus, you can definitely start small.
• Sheena and Seanna at Two Girls and an Appetite talk about their dive into freezer cooking and share a wonderful pie crust recipe that is freezable.
• Jessie at Vanderbilt Wife lists my Ham and Potato Pockets as one of her Top Ten recipes.
