A few weeks ago when we were scheduled to have Taco Soup for lunch I decided that I needed a “Mexican” accompaniment. So, I came up with a grilled cheese that I have originally named “Mexican Grilled Cheese”. It was really yummy though. Here is the recipe.
Yield: 8 cubes Ingredients: 1 ripe avocado (peeled and pitted) 1 ripe banana 1/2 scoop formula water, if needed (or substitute breastmilk for formula) Directions: In blender, add avocado, banana, formula. Puree, adding water until desired consistency is achieved.
Cut a avocado in half and remove the pit. Scoop out the flesh and mash together with a little bit of your baby’s usual milk, until desired consistency.
