The best part: versatility. We can pretty much customize everyone’s burritos with what they like, mark the first letter of their name on the outside of each person’s burritos, and throw them all in a freezer bag. So feel free to use this recipe as a “jumping off point” for your own favorite, freezer burritos!

If drawing a spider web on top (and maybe even going that extra mile and putting plastic spiders on each slice of pizza) gets the kids to enjoy eating their breakfast, lunch or dinner on the National Candy Holiday, I’m all for it. Not to mention it’s finally Fall and Apple Season! Sweet delicious apple season. This is a great way to use those apples for something special, with or without the spider webs.

As I’ve mentioned before Rhubarb and I don’t have a long history. We also have an obsession with raspberries in this house, so the combo was undeniable when I stumbled upon this recipe. I made a few twists of my own to substitute for my budget and our tastes. Raspberry Rhubarb muffins are dense yet fluffy, tangy and sweet, just delicious!

Did you know that you don’t have to slather butter on your bread to get a nice grilled sandwich? If you use non-stick cooking spray in your pan, you can put one side of a sandwich directly on the pan and it will brown nicely. Remove the sandwich, spray the pan again, and brown the [...]

This beef stroganoff recipe that I originally found in my 1997 Taste of Home Magazine has become a regular on our family menu. It has the right blend of flavors for me. I love the addition of the red wine vinegar, I think it really makes this dish.

I came up with this recipe several years ago when I had some chicken on hand that I wasn’t sure what I wanted to make. I made this for my now husband and he loved it. He requests it now regularly. This is a meal that I make when chicken is on sale and I am “saving” my freezer meals.

This recipe was sent to me by a former co-worker and reader who responded to my call for Thanksgiving Appetizers a few months back. It is different then the Thanksgiving mashed potatoes and uses the oven to bake them on your serving day. I thought this might be more plausible at Christmas when there is seemingly “less” food being put in the oven than at Thanksgiving.
