My favorite thing about OAMC is how easy it is for me to get meals on the table each night. I make up a weekly menu based on the meals I have stashed in the freezer. Each morning I pull out the following night’s entree from the freezer so it has time to thaw. In the evening I pop that night’s meal in the oven and don’t have to think about it. More time to spend with my family rather than preparing the meal each night.
I am doing my first OAMC at the end of the month – my friend and I have been wanting to start for while but both had infant babies – they are finally old enough to be ‘away’ from us for a day. yeah!
I also subscribe to your blog on my RSS reader.
I want to start OAMC but I’ve been trying to soak up all the info before I actually do 30 meals in one day!!!
I like knowing that a healthy dinner is in the freezer and can be ready in under 1 hour with minimal work.
I signed up for your RSS feed and joined your fan page on facebook.
i haven’t started because we’re a dairy-free house due to an allergy, and it seems that the vast majority of OAMC recipes are dairy-laden.
Have you checked out the gluten free and dairy free versions of the menu on the site? They would make it possible for you and your family to do OAMC. . .just look under the cooking menu link.

My favorite thing? That realization mid-afternoon that I don’t have to cook when I get off work.
I am also a fan on facebook.

My favorite thing about Once a Month cooking is coming home after a 12 hour day at school (I’m a 6th grade teacher) and having dinner ready almost instantly because my husband, while not an amazing cook, can very easily follow the cooking directions for my pre-made frozen dinners. The one day of hard cooking is totally worth the month of relaxation at dinner time.
I already subscribe to your RSS feed using Google Reader.
I recently had a baby and haven’t start OAMC yet but amplanning to soon.

I haven’t started really doing OAMC yet mainly because I’m busy with a 3 month old and 2 other preschoolers. But I do make meals ahead of time and freeze them–I just haven’t done a whole month’s worth at a time yet. But someday!
Also, I subscribe via google reader! And I love it by the way!
I love OAMC! I have only done it once so far (last month), but I really have loved the time it saves me in the kitchen & the recipes! I am already a Facebook Fan.
I love your website…I haven’t started once a month cooking because I am really nervous that eating frozen food all the time just won’t be as good. I love all of your recipes though.
I think you would be surprised. At least give it a try for one month, you can always take several months to eat the foods if you find you don’t like the frozen meals as much. But there really is very little difference, other than the hard work every evening.

I used to do once a month cooking & loved it because it made supper so simple but got out of the habit. I’d love to start again.
I subscribe via RSS through my beloved Google Reader.
I love how much time it saves me during the week. I get home from work and just pop dinner in the oven. I don’t have to think “What am I going to make for dinner?” so much anymore. Now I just have to think of a side dish and that’s easy! Thanks!
I subscribe via RSS (Google Reader) and am a fan of your facebook page. I love keeping up with everything you’re doing.
I love the variety of foods that you give us as options each month. And mostly are healthy choices that the kids LOVE!
I can’t wait to start doing OAMM with another friend. I’ve been doing it by myself (on a smaller scale) but just found a friend that’s really interested to start doing it with me. I think it’ll be a fun “girls day” even if the kids are there as well. My son actually has been interested in cooking, too, and he joins in!
Great, hope you are joining us for the Tweet-Up!
Haven’t tried OAM cooking yet, but have tried some idividual recipes–My son loved the breakfast burritos! He asked me to make a second batch!! He doesn’t try new foods easily, and to ask for a second batch blew me away!!!
I love getting up in the morning and pulling something delicious out of the freezer. How wonderful is it to come home in the afternoon knowing all I have to do is heat up my families dinner.
I do mini sessions OAMC with only one kind of meat or a baking day.
I haven’t started Once a month cooking yet because our freezer is too small! I do use your recipes though and I love them!
My mom works long hours and was recently telling me how hard it is for her to get the energy to cook for those siblings still at home. I introduced her to your website, and she loves it! I think it makes her life easier. I also recently introduced your website to some women from my church. I am spreading the word!
Thanks for spreading the word!
I don’t do true OAMC, but I often double or triple a recipe we really like to have some in the freezer for later. I enjoy this site, and I’d love to read this cookbook. I keep saying I am going to give the OAMC thing a try… sometime soon!

I just was introduced to your website. I’ve signed up for your email and look forward to learning this ONCE a Month cooking.
I haven’t started yet because I was just introduced to this idea.
This is my first time visiting the site, and I am a little overwhelmed, but very excited too!
I work part-time in the evenings and stay-at-home mom during the day. I hope that these meal plans will allow me to take full advantage of the little time I do have with my family!
I don’t do a traditional OAMC day, but I usually make 3-4 recipes each month in bulk and freeze them. We eat one of each of those meals each month and also meals from previous months. I would love to do something larger, but this seems to be the best right now with affordability and time. I am very interested in the 2-week options in the cookbook. Thanks!
I don’t OAMC yet, mainly because my freezer is constantly full. I’m a bit of a compulsive grocery shopper! I do, however, make good use of the “cook it once, eat it twice” method of cooking, so I always have at least a few ready-made meals in the freezer.
I haven’t started because I didn’t know this existed…how awesome is this?

I just had my first go last week, just picked a few meals that would work for my family and spread the meals out over a couple days. It was great, now have 6 dinners in the freezer for when my son is born (anytime now!) Thanks!
I love that there are meals ready and waiting for me!

My favorite thing about OAMC is knowing that I have something healthy ready and waiting, it makes week nights so much smoother!
I subscribe to the blog via Google Reader.
I love to use it when I catch a great meat sale and then prepare meals to have for those busy days.
I have been trying to prepare myself with knowledge and recipies before attemping the OAMC. I have been trying to collect recipies from friends and coworkers, which hasn’t been too fruitful because most of them don’t cook! I was going to attempt a 1 or 2 week cooking schedule, but I would love to get to a OAMC schedule. I would love a copy of this cookbook! Thanks!
I have never been aware of the idea of once a month cooking but I like the concept and would love to give it a try.
I subscribe.
I am a FB fan.
While I have made several of your recipes and frozen them, I just don’t have the energy right now to do a full OAMC marathon! Plus, I can’t seem to find a “partner”, which makes me even less inclined. But I do love making up your recipes, having some for dinner and freezing the rest for later!
I’m a facebook fan!!!
My favorite thing is about freezer cooking is CONTROL. I get to control what goes into the dish and I get to control when the mess gets made.
My favorite part is having something ready in the freezer for those nights when I either don’t have time to cook or am uninspired for dinner.

I love having a freezer full of meals!
WOW! That sounds great! We just had our very FIRST OAMC session yesterday & I can’t begin to tell you how excited I was – not only did we get to have a great amount of food done, we also were able to spend QUALITY time together – AMAZING! The hardest part was figuring out what to pull out for dinner tonight!
I’m also signed up for the TweetUp!

Ive only been able to do OAMC once and it was awesome!
Can’t wait to scheduled the next one…just working on finding a day that works best for both me and my partner. Anyone do it solo? Is it worth it?
I added the tweet-up badge to my signature on the website I visit most, since i don’t have my own site – http://redriver.momslikeme.com – hope that counts

I love once a month cooking! I pick out the recipes that I think my bunch will eat. I don’t have anyone to cool with, so I cut the recipes in half. I work at a local community college, so it’s great to have something homemade in the freezer that can go right in the oven.
I’m a fan on facebook!
And I love the idea of two week cycles because I think I could actually fit two weeks worth of food into our tiny freezer.
What I love about once a month cooking is having supper prep done on a certain day.

I have not started cooking once a month yet I am trying to learn all about it before I start to do it.

This is my first month after doing a cooking day and I just love the peace of mind that it has given me, despite the grueling 14 hours it took to make that peace happen!!
I love knowing there’s always something ready to REHEAT–not cook!
I subscribe via bloglines. *fingers crossed!*
We haven’t started yet, because we don’t have the freezer space, but I like the idea.
I love saving money by buying in bulk!
After a long day at work, I feel much better knowing that making dinner for the family will be simple and easy
I like OAMC because it is as convenient as grocery-bought freezer meals, but you know exactly what is in it and there aren’t any preservatives.
I subscribe via email. Great!!
I love OAMC because it get rid of the “What in the world am I going to do for dinner?????” question. I have done it in the past with some friends, but I have to admit I haven’t done it in forever. I just started working full-time and OAMC would sure come in handy right now!!
I just subscribed to your blog. I’ve been wanting to start the once a month cooking, so glad to have found once a month mom
I think the cookbook would definitely get me motivated. Thanks! Tammy
I’m a facebook fan of OAMC.
I receive RSS feeds of OAMC.
It’s 5′oclock – Do you know what’s for dinner? Yes – OAMC!!!
I don’t do a whole month of cooking because of my disabilities. I can get a few things stashed away from time to time in the freezer and it is so nice to know I have them when needed.
I am an email subscriber.
I have yet to try OAMC but I really want to. This cookbook looks like it would be a great way to begin OAMC.
My favorite thing about OAMC is that I can have a nice, tasty and healthy meal on the table on nights when it would be so much easier to grab takeout or fast food.
I love how much time it saves in the evenings to only have to heat the dinner up.
My favorite thing about once a month cooking is that I can get my cooking over & done with in ONE day vs. 30!

I don’t know why I haven’t started. I need to that’s why I’m here!
I haven’t started yet because I have a hard time marathon cooking and I’m not quite sure where to start as far as recipes, etc., but I really should start doing this or weekly cooking because I could use more variety in my diet and I don’t have time to cook every day =/
I love that it’s easy to read. No flashing ads or hundreds of items down the side. It’s heaven for someone like me that has undiagnosed ADD lol!

I love the easy and simple recipes. You have all done all the hard work for us. Thank you!
I love freezer cooking. I don’t do OAMC because I can’t devote an entire day to cooking (both logistically and physically) but I frequently make an extra meal to stock up my freezer. It’s great for days you don’t want to decide what to cook or are running low on time.
I have not tried oamc yet, but I will be soon!
I haven’t done a true once a month cooking. I have cooked twice the amount and froze half. It was so nice to just thaw and cook. Great on a busy night.
I am going to start this weekend! I am so excited!
I don’t do a real one – baby steps! I have tried to do just ground beef 5-8 lbs and come up w/ meals from there, but that’s it. Haven’t planned enough to try OAMC.
I am trying to hard to make it a habit! I think it’s a great idea!
I haven’t started once a month cooking yet because I just haven’t taken the time or found the freezer space. It would be a great time saver!
I joined your facebook fan page!
I haven’t started once a month cooking because I get easily bored in my kitchen and I have a 2 month old that needs a lot of attention.
I am following you using google reader now!
I’ve subscribed to your blog!
I haven’t officially tried once-a-month cooking not in an organized fashion. But I do make large pots of some dishes, (like red beans & rice or gumbo)so I can put several freezer boxes of them up for future meals. It’s so convenient. Thanks for the chance to win this cookbook!
I haven’t done once-a-month cooking yet, primarily because I haven’t felt like I had the time. Now that my daughter is a little older, however (doesn’t need constant attention and likes to help in the kitchen), I’m very interested in trying it. I do regularly cook some foods, like pancakes, in bulk so I can freeze some for later.
I have never tried OAMC but when I was younger my Mom used to do it and we loved the food. I don´t have the freezer space for a whole month at a time but would love to try to do at least 2 weeks at a time. It would be so wonderful not to have to cook every day.

I haven’t started OAMC yet. I’m looking for resources so I can learn, though. I’d love my own cookbook to help me get started!
