Pampered Chef Review/Giveaway: Cookie Press

My apologies to you and to Pampered Chef for not getting this post done before the holidays. That was my intention but things got a little crazy with Tessa and the holidays. Oh well. This is still a great product though! And there are plenty of uses for it not only during the holidays but during snowy winter days when you are looking for something to do with the kids or for making any holiday treat really.
Cookie Press
Pampered Chef contacted me about reviewing their Cookie Press. I was excited about reviewing the product because it is actually something from Pampered Chef that I don’t already own. And folks, I own A LOT of it! I also thought it sounded like something fun that my son and I could do together.
I decided to make some spritz cookies for our New Years Eve gathering with friends. (We just watched a movie at our house with some friends as we couldn’t go out with such a young baby.) However, we decided to have some fondue with our movie for which the cookies were perfect! You know for dipping in delectable chocolate! Yum.
The cookie dough was easy to make and was great because I already had all of the ingredients on hand which didn’t mess up my Eat From The Pantry Challenge intentions. I made the dough and then chose a couple of the cookie plates that I wanted to use. I started with the snowman. I actually wouldn’t recommend starting with this shape. It was a bit more difficult than the others and mine didn’t turn out looking too grand.
However, I changed plates after a few frustrating moments and found the cookie press very easy to use and lots of fun. I eventually got the hang of snowmen later after I had more practice with the cookie press. I didn’t end up having my son help as I made these while he was napping but I am going to schedule that adventure really soon. However, I did seek his opinion on the final results:
The cookie press also helps make cheese straws for all you Southerners who love some cheese straws! (I actually had NEVER heard of cheese straws until I lived in Georgia). There are 10 plates total for you to experiment and play with.

My favorite pampered chief product is the large 8 cup measuring bowl. It comes in so handy for measuring large quantities when making jams & jellies.
I also love Pampered Chef products. Their stoneware is fabulous, but my favorite product is the apple slicer. Its great for work, picnics and camping!

I love the Pampered Chef stones. For my wedding, nearly five years ago, I got a Pampered Chef stone and a knock-off from Bed Bath & Beyond. Needless to say, the knock-off broke a little over a year ago but the Pampered Chef one is going strong!

My favorite Pampered Chef item is definately the chopper. My kids love using it and it makes chopping onions less tearful. I would love the cookie press. My kids love to help me bake.
I love my round sandwich cutter/press. It cuts the crusts off of the sandwich, and pinches the edges together so the filling doesn’t fall out. Great for little ones! Also, the baking stone, batter bowl, micro-cookers, mix and chop,…I could go on and on. I have yet to buy a product I don’t love!

I don’t own any products from Pampered Chef but lately I’ve been doing a lot more baking — getting some fancy tools would make it even more fun (the pastry mat looks particularly good).
I love the liquid/dry measure cup. Makes measuring peanut butter or shortening so easy!
I love the mini spatual…which is prefect for brownies or basically any thing. I also love the pizza stone.
Although I love PC products (seriously, every PC product I have is my ‘favorite’ – my favorite measuring cup, my favorite mixing bowl…), my absolute favorite product is the garlic press. I think I use it daily!
Pampered Chef rocks!! I need to have a party someday!! All my pampered chef stuff is getting old. I have always wanted a cookie press. I USE my Garlic Press probably every other meal it seems in the winter and the CHOPPER.
I love all sorts of Pampered Chef products: pizza stone, liquid/solid measuring cup, and their spatulas. However, I don’t actually own any of their stuff, I just have tons of fun using my Mom’s when I visit her.

My FAVORITE PC product is the little scraper that helps you clean stuck on grime off pots and pans. It’s probably the least expensive item but it’s SOOOO great!

I love Pampered Chef so much that I am selling it just to get the discount. I think that my favorite thing is the new metal baking sheets. They are great for keeping the heat even and really durable. If I had to pick #2 it would be my turn-a-bout organizer. I have it stuffed full and it frees up some drawer space.

Wow. I love just about everything I’ve gotten from them. My 3 favorites though are the whisk, the spatula, and all the stoneware.

I used to be a consultant, so I still have many a Pampered chef gadgets. But the rectangular pizza stone, and the 8 cup bowl get the most use to this day. I shared this on facebook too!

I really like the corn on the cob holders. You put them on the corn BEFORE you boil the ears. They’re cool to the touch right away, so no burnt fingers.

I love my Dots dishes (Simple Additions), use all of my utensils regularly, including my Forged Cutlery. My bar pans, of course. Everything is great! It is hard for me to choose which is my favorite. I love the kitchen shears and I use them to cut up cooked meat, cut up chicken that is in the crockpot, as well as vegetables. My other favorite prodoct is the Cut-n-Seal. It makes great sandwiches for my daughter’s lunch that put Uncrustables to shame!

My favorite is the apple peeler/corer/slicer. I’ve used it at home for apples, onions, potatoes; pies, side dishes, appetizers; in the classroom; I’ve lent it out many times. Children love it as well as adults!
I love every pampered chef product I own!!! My favorites may be my pizza stone, my soap dispenser, and my neon green knife (I can’t remember which one it is!!). I do not have the cookie press but want one sooo bad!!! (It’s on my list for the next time I get an invite!!).

Used to be a consultant and have sooo many of the products and it is really hard to pick a favorite as I use alot of them daily. I use at least one of the stoneware daily and the chopper, garlic press, pizza cutter, kitchen shears all out of my tool turnabout. One of the pitchers is in my fridge everyday. But the one thing I don’t have is the cookie press but would love to have one. Love Pampered Chef products, they can’t be beat.

Maybe silly but I couldn’t live without my big glass measuring bowl that has a lid too. It always seems to be the perfect size for leftover soups or what not. Plus, I can make cookie dough in it and just cover it and put the extra in the fridge!

My favorite pampered chef item is the pizza stone. However, I love all my pampered chef. Another favorite is my tea pitcher. I use it daily. It is so easy to mix together sugar and tea all in the same pitcher with just a few pushes.
