Saturday Stumbles: August 21, 2010

Can it really be nearing the end of August? I hardly think it is possible. What a whirlwind of a month. Tell me, since having kids, does your life move this fast too?
I am still getting caught up this week after the last few weeks, but here is what I have read.
Here is what I read this week:
Once A Month Mom’s
- Twin Cities resident, Debi was on twelve.tv news and Once A Month Mom was featured – check out the video segment online!
- Mama the Reader did the September 2009 OAMM Menu recently – she wrote about their adventures and their first experience. And what a cute picture of her with a labeled dish!
- Great conversation with several OAMM’s on the Facebook Fan Page Night. Scroll to the bottom and read up!
- I Dream of Clean talks about winning the Fresh Wave Starter Kit and how she has used it since. Really, the stuff is amazing! And you can win some too.
- In Lulu’s Menu Plan Monday she talks about her plan for cooking OAMC throughout the week and links to yours truly. Thanks Lulu!
Recipes (that caught my eye)
- How to make a cupcake tower from Annie Eats – not exactly an edible recipe but one that might come in handy for you entertainers out there. I only wish I had seen this post BEFORE the eve of my sons birthday party!
- Hawaiian Ribs Slow Cooker Recipe – I pretty much love any and everything that Stephanie posts so I am so excited to see some recipes from her recently!
- Blueberry Zucchini Bread from Alicia’s Homemaking – I’m not a huge fan of Zucchini Bread but I think that I might just be able to enjoy this recipe. And I am sure there will be plenty of zucchini in my near future to experiment with.

I’ve been trying to clean off my desk ever since I gave birth to my first child. She’s almost 16. It never slows down. But, it’s all good.
I can’t wait to try some of your recipes.
I’m off to check out the cupcake tower! Thanks for linking up to Blog Party!

Thanks for the stumble this Saturday. I’m actually looking forward to doing another menu sometime, and I made your Oatmeal Raspberry Scones this week, by the way. Delicious!
