Save on Your Menu Plan Monday with the Kroger Cart Buster Savings Event (Giveaway)
It’s that time of year again. Time to save BIG with the Kroger Cart Buster Event. This year they are doing things a little differently though. Remember that Kroger Rewards Card you have? Well, if you have been rusty about using it you will want to get it out and dust it off!
Every day from now until March 12 you can log on to the Kroger website using your log-in information for your card and load new savings to your card. There is the regular coupons that are available for you to just load to your card BUT in addition to those, each day they will be offering a special savings opportunity to the first 1,000 customers that manage to load that day’s savings to their Kroger card. All you need to do is to go to the Kroger website starting at Noon (Eastern Standard Time) and before 6 pm, for your chance to score that day’s deal.
Remember, quantities are limited so you might want to set your alarm to go off just before noon so you remember to go check out the savings. I have mine set and I’m looking forward to what I might score with this event. I will be sure to report back. Feel free to report on your winnings/earnings as well!
To celebrate the Kroger Cart Buster Event I have a $25 Kroger Gift Card to share with one lucky reader. It is a simple entry so there is no reason not to enter (well, unless you don’t have a Kroger or affiliate near you). Here is how you enter:
- Comment on what “Deal of the Day” you scored from the Kroger Cart Buster Event
OR
- Comment on how you use your gift card at the Kroger Cart Buster Event if you win.

Menu Plan Monday
I was laying in bed last night trying to figure out when this household has been 100% healthy. I know it was way back in 2010 but I’m not how sure how far back we need to stretch into that year. At any rate, that still means that someone in this house has been sick every day for at least the last 2 months. UGH!
Usually I quarantine us to the house all winter to keep from getting sick but I have realized that going stir crazy is just as frustrating. I also know it has been a “sick” winter as I have talked to many friends and family that have endured the same.
What about you? Have you been healthy or sick? If you have been healthy, what is your secret? I WANT TO KNOW!
All this to explain that we barely got to ANY of our meal plan last week because someone (or everyone) was ill so I just scrapped most things in exchange for grilled cheese and noodle soups. It was a sad, sad week. I hope that this week looks up. So excuse me that some of this is a repeat of last week.
Monday – Deep Dish Cordon Bleu, stuffing, salad
Tuesday – Chipotle-Chicken Sandwiches, sweet potato fries, salad
Wednesday – House Church, bringing bambu plates this week and not sure what else.
Thursday – leftovers
Friday – Johnny Marzetti with Cheesy Noodles, peas
Saturday – Lunch – sandwiches, soup
Dinner – Southwest Mini Crescent Burritos, Corn, Avocado Salad
Sunday – Lunch – leftovers
Dinner – Rosemary Balsamic Pork Tenderloin (from the Our Best Bites Cookbook)

It’s been a sick winter for us, too. It just hangs on forever – it’s not a miserable kill-me-now kind of cold but it is SO annoying in it’s refusal to let up!
We seem to have been sick all this winter–I’m so ready for spring so we can air out the house!
