Simple Down Home Lasagna
(Oops, I forgot to take a finished product picture.) I adapted one of my favorite, and simple, lasagna recipes to work with the Down Home Spaghetti Sauce. We gave it a try and it was just as delicious. And the great part is that it is so simple! Well, that is after the spaghetti sauce cooks for hours!
If you don’t have time to make the spaghetti sauce or you don’t have a batch in your freezer (shame on you) then you most certainly could substitute your favorite jarred sauce in equal amounts.

- .25 batch Down Home Spaghetti Sauce (approx. 3 cups)
- 2 cups Ricotta cheese
- 8 ounces Mozzarella Cheese
- 2 ounces Parmesan Cheese
- 6 no-boil lasagna noodles
Directions:
Using a deep dish 8×8 pan, start by placing 1 cup of the Down Home Spaghetti Sauce in the bottom of the pan. Place 2 no boil noodles on top of that. Next spoon on 1/3 of the Ricotta cheese and spread on that layer. Add 1/3 of Mozzarella cheese and 1/3 of Parmesan cheese on top of that. Repeat those layers – meat sauce, noodles, cheeses – two more times. When finished bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
