Slow Cooker Turkey Chili
When the weather turns colder, and the kids activities get even more hectic, my best friend is my slow cooker. I admit – I own three! And on any given day there will be at least one “working” on my counter. This Turkey Chili is a family friendly, flavor packed soup. Your family won’t know they are eating healthy!
Turkey Chili

Ingredients:
- 1 pounds ground turkey, browned
- 10 ounces frozen corn
- 1 cup yellow onion, chopped
- 28 ounces diced tomatoes
- 16 ounces tomato sauce
- 4.5 ounces chopped green chiles
- 15 ounces red kidney beans
- 2 Tablespoons cilantro, chopped
- 2 Tablespoons chili powder
- 1 Tablespoons cumin
- 1.5 teaspoons red pepper flakes
Directions:
Place ingredients in a slow cooker. Cook on low 4-6 hours. Garnish with additional onion and cilantro if desired when serving.
Freezing Directions:
Place all ingredients in a gallon freezer storage bag. Labe and freeze. To serve, thaw. Pour contents into a slow cooker and cook on low 4-6 hours. Garnish with additional onion and cilantro if desired when serving.
