Sorry, Oh So Sorry – Grocery List Update

So I am sitting at BlissDom with a great group of ladies having a great time! Periodically, we have been able to check our sites comments and reply when needed. In reviewing the comments a few minutes ago I reader wrote to ask about the 32 pounds of chicken breasts that are listed on the grocery list. I have been very confident in this number as I have crunched these numbers a million of times before the site launch. BUT I had a moment where I stopped cold and PANICED!

I turned to Cortney, looked up a few sites and realized I had made a HUGE mistake. So while everyone is out enjoying their fabulous lunch – I am in the conference room fixing the grocery list and writing this post.

The correct amount of cooked poultry you need is 16 cups. This is the equivalent of approximately 20-24 pounds whole chicken OR 12 pounds of chicken breasts, in addition to the 7 pounds that you need for other recipes. NOT 32 pounds of chicken breasts that is listed. So if you are just doing chicken breasts you will need a total of 19 pounds. 

For all of you that have joined us this month, know that we will review the menus and grocery lists diligently, but yes, we are human. My apologies. And if you have already bought chicken, I am sorry. Perhaps there will be some chicken on your menus for several weeks!

    I KNEW that was a lot of chicken! I hope you got to eat some lunch. If not, I have PLENTY of chicken you can borrow LOL
