Could it be that we have two “normal” weeks in a row? I can’t remember the last time that EVER happened around here. It feels so good! I am still working on dwindling down my freezer supply so I am basing many of the meals out of the freezer this week.

The sale price on items on our grocery list is a bit slim this week. However, there is a Mega-Event happening again that you may want to check out.

It’s getting to the end of the month. Some of your are likely cooking this week. As you can see some of the baking items are starting to be on sale so keep an eye out. Apples and spices are the highlight of this week’s Meijer sales for our grocery list.

Many of you have mentioned already doing your October cooking. It looks like I am going to have to make this post early in the month so that you early birds can share all of your wisdom with the rest of us! It is so great to see so many joining us.

We had some readers do the October menu recently and they found a few missing items from the grocery list. SO SORRY. And thank you to them for letting me know so early in the month. I have made the adjustments to the grocery list, but if you have already printed the list and started shopping you will want to take note.

This week is no doubt going to be a busy one! The Once A Month Mom Tweet-Up is on Saturday night (there are still a few in-house slots and plenty of Twitter space for everyone) which means my to-do list is unusually long this week. And my time in the kitchen, unusually short. But here is our plan for the week.

Kroger has their mega event going on again this week. There really aren’t any that are on our grocery list but there are some items worth noting, especially the Pillsbury Catalina.

There are a lot of Meijer products on sale this week. Not a lot of coupon match-ups but you can still get savings on your grocery list items by shopping this week.
