I am still very interested what you think of the meals from month to month. Soon I will be posting the results from the first half of the year. I will also be coming up with a couple “All-Stars” menus for December and January while I am on “maternity leave”. So make sure you weigh in your votes in the right side bar. Kroger is having a 10/$10 event this week and a GREAT sale on chicken breasts and beef stew meat. This would be a good time to finish up your September grocery shopping or to get ahead on your October shopping.

This is another one of those “odd” weeks because a new menu comes out half way through the week. Since the new menu comes out later in the week I will go ahead and post the breakdown for those of you still working away on your September Grocery List.

Folks, this is a crazy week for me. I can’t say there is going to be much in the way of cooking around here (good thing I have goods in the freezer). Here is what I think our plan is for the week.

Kroger has their mega event going on again this week. Many of the items are the same as last week so if you missed out don’t delay this week.

Great sale items including Ziploc containers and freezer bags. If you stocked up last time you will likely find coupons in the packages for future purchases.

Did you do a September OAMC or Once A Month Mom cooking day? If so, feel free to tell us all about it, share pictures, or make suggestions. Can’t wait to hear them.

I know this is kind of last minute but I thought you should know that Meijer is having a GREAT one day sale tomorrow (9/19). There are some fabulous buys on some of our OAMM grocery list items as well. Take a look. . .

Lately, I have had several requests for brainstorming and ideas on how to provide meals to families in the area. I am going to share some of those needs in hopes that you will get great ideas on how to contribute yourself.

Originally this was going to be an “easy” week for me but it has quickly filled up with things to do during the day. Good things, but things. So I am happy that I have lots of freezer meals so I don’t have to worry about dinner.

September’s Once A Month Mom menu is now available. You will find lots of fall favorites as well as easy back to school items for serving your family and children. I hope that you enjoy the menu!

There is another Mega Event going on this week at Kroger. Meaning, when you buy 10 of the participating items you automatically get $5 off your order. There are some great grocery items in this week’s mega event as well.

There a quite a few things on our grocery list on sale this week at Meijer. There are also some items that I envision being on our holiday lists as well so I included them in case you were looking to stock up. They may actually go on better sale as we draw closer to the holidays but I wanted to get us on the lookout.

I am in Chicago this weekend celebrating my husbands birthday so you will have to excuse the lateness of the grocery sales breakdowns. They will be posted sometime before Monday afternoon. In the meantime . . .
