Things I Love Thursday: Allure Bras

I know, I know, you have heard me preach the wonders of Bravado Designs in the past! First it was the Sublime and the Body Silk Seamless Nursing Bra. Then there was my raving reviews of the Allure. You are probably thinking that there can’t be too many bras in their line for me left to review. Well, you are WRONG!
Back in March Bravado came out with yet another great nursing bra, the Bliss! The Bliss is a cross between the Body Silk and Allure bra to me, well without the under wire that is. The Bliss offers great support to those that are a bit busty (and let’s face it, who isn’t when they are nursing?). But it offers that comfort and support without being the under wire. And for those of you that need support but don’t like wearing an under wire, this is a great bra for you!
I have to be honest though. The Bliss is nice but my favorite is still the Allure. I just love the fit. But I like under wire bras and I am not nursing right now. When I was nursing or pregnant I couldn’t even dream of wearing a bra with under-wire. You have to make a decision for yourself.
In my opinion you really can’t go wrong with a Bravado Design bra. But that is just my opinion. What is yours? Do you own a Bravado nursing bra? If so, which is your style of choice?
Solely from your reviews, those are the only bras I looked at and bought :) My favorite “comfy” one is the Lifestyle Microfiber (the Bodysilk Seamless is very comfy but doesn’t support as much as I’d like), but I just ordered the Supreme to give it a try. I also like the Sublime for it’s support (I’m rather “blessed” during this time in my life!). So far I haven’t found one that keeps “the girls” as supported as the bras I wore before my girl was born. Hopefully the Supreme will perk ‘em up :P
I’m so glad you posted this review! I’m DEFINITELY due for a new nursing bra! I’ve never tried this brand but will try them out. I’m essentially down to one decent nursing bra…I wanted to wait to get new ones until things were established, but he’s a month now, so I guess it’s time.
The reviews on the website for the Sublime&Silk sound like they like it better than the allure…do you just like the allure better because of the underwire?
I am for sure going to check these out. I’ve had a hard time finding a bra that really fits well and is comfy. I am super picky! Thanks!
I just found out this week that I am pregnant, but already I can feel my breasts changing. I am not sure how much longer I will be able to comfortably wear my regular bras. I’m a DD on a normal day, so I wear underwires for the support, but I know they’re bad for the milk ducts. I want a well-built bra that doesn’t look like a nursing bra because the ones I had with DD3 were a complete turn-off and I want something that’s attractive. So my question is there a particular style that looks like a regular bra?
They pretty much all look like regular bras or better! Seriously. If you like underwires for support you should try the Allure. I would suggest following their how to size chart to figure your measurements and don’t be afraid to write them if you are unsure about what size to get. The staff is extremely helpful.
