Things I Love Thursday: IFBC Swag (Giveaway)
Disclosure: All the items listed below were included in my swag bag from IFBC. Every attendee received one. I am not necessarily required to tell you about it but I thought that I would. Because there are nice things that might peak your interest. I have not had time to try all of them so this is not a review. All the opinions in this post are mine, want to know more about how I facilitate reviews, view my full disclosure policy!
People are always complaining about all the crazy swag that there is to grab up at Blogher. Did you know that most every blogging conference involves some sort of swag? It does. Frankly, it doesn’t bother me one bit. Not because I am product hungry but because it gives me a great chance to find out about new things and to try products I wouldn’t otherwise. So I am pro-swag. Not swag hording, just pro-swag.
Here are a few of the memorable goodies from this years IFBC Swag Bag that I thought might peak your interest, they did mine.

I would be super excited about the Cuisipro Cupcake Corer. I love to bake cupcakes with my daughters and this would be super fun to use!!!

Wow awesome selection of items. I was most interested in the Charcoal Companion Steak Station. I love to grill. That as well as many of the other items would be awsome.

I’m curious about the steak station–I might actually cook steak then.
Hmm, tough one. It’s a toss up between the corn peeler and the wine tumbler. My husband and son will NOT eat corn on the cob, so I’m constantly de-kernelling (it can get messy when you’re in a hurry), but since I also tend to knock tall glasses over and will cry over spilled wine (!) a wine tumbler would be so cool!
I was excited to see the zester. While I haven’t zested much.. a lot of it is likely because I can’t stand to zest the ways I’ve done it in the past..
The french press would be awesome. We do a lot of tent camping and the one thing I dislike about it is the instant coffee. Yuck! I was told a french press is the way to go for brewed coffee while camping but I just haven’t invested the money in one yet.

That’s a tough choice between the Charcoal Companion Steak Station & the OXO Corn Peeler!! They both look like great kitchen tools.
I love the table runner, cupcake corer, and cupcake pan! I can’t choose just 1.. It was hard enough to narrow it down to 3!

I would be stoked to have the pretty pansy cupcake pan. I have 5 daughters and my second to youngest wants a Fancy Nancy birthday party!
The pansy cupcake pan looks neat- my daughters (and sons) both love cupcakes and muffins and this would make fun ones.
I think that pansy cupcake pan is pretty cool, but all of it is great!
I’d LOVE that Bodem French Press…..my husband broke mine recently and I’ve yet to replace it:)
Love the runner, but it would not match my stuff. I would be excited about the citrus reamer. Could use one of those!

The pansy cupcake pan is adorable. How cute would cornbread muffins look coming out of there?
That bowl scraper looks like it’s really heavy-duty–it would come in handy in my kitchen, especially now that it’s cooling off and I can bake again!
Wow! that would be awesome to get all of that! I thin the spatula and the book would be my favorites.
My husband needs the steak station, I do all the grilling because he’s afraid he won’t do it right.
I am currently obsessed with anything and everything cupcake, so that cupcake pan or cupcake corer would be amazing!!
Lots of interesting things in there. My fav is the table runner. I also thought the steak station was interesting.
I have been doing a lot of freezing right now and the corn peeler would have come in handy a couple weeks ago!
I would be the most excited about the french press coffee maker! We drink coffee every single day and I’ve always wanted to try using a french press. I’ma huge coffee nut (my lifelong dream is to own my own coffee shop.) However, that cupcake pan is pretty cute too

I LOVE them all but the Le Creuset Spatula Spoon really is something I want! Small things in life satisfy me…LOL.
I love the Oxo Good Grips Corn Peeler! After cutting 4 dozen cobs with a steak knife it looks marvelous.
This may sound totally lame, but I would be most excited about the zester! I have wanted one like that for so long and, for some reason, have yet to buy one. I would grate everything on it, garlic, zest, cheese. Love it! Nice swag!
My favorite would be the French press coffee maker. I have wanted to try this form of coffee making but just didn’t want to fork out the money and not like it. Plus I love love love coffee!
I used to have a spatula spoon, but I have no idea what happened to it. It was one of my favorite kitchen tools
So that would be my pick.

If I had received this wonderful bag of goodies ~ I would be most excited about the Table Runner ~ it’s gorgeous ~ and just in time for the perfect Holiday table!!! I’d fill it with my own goodies and use every gift and gadget to help create the perfect Holiday feast!!!!

my fave’s would be the spoon rest and the cupcake pan. I am forever having to wipe my counters cause hubby never puts the cooking spoons on a plate or napkin – guess I can’t really complain, he is cooking after all, lol. What an amazing bunch of goodies!!
I’ve been thinking all summer long as I’ve cut the kernels off MANY ears of corn for my boys, “Man hasn’t someone invented a ‘dekerneler’ for corn yet?” Plus the wine tumbler…I’ve never cared for stemware…much to my mothers dismay. Yippee, two of my prayers have been answered!
