Things I Love Thursday: Imprint Mats (Giveaway)
Disclosure: I received an Imprint Mat back in May to facilitate my review for the Mother’s Day Kitchen Gift Guide. The opinions and experiences below are my own.
It is no mystery that we spend a lot of time on our feet when we do once a month cooking! And I get tired. There is no way around it, your legs and feet just ache. After all, we are on our feet for at least 8 hours and my body isn’t use to that.
Enter Imprint Mats. Imprint Mats are anti-fatigue mats for your kitchen (or anywhere else that you stand for long periods of time). And recently a university study was conducted of the Imprint Mats and here were some of the results:
Study participants saw a reduction of overall fatigue by 56%, lower leg fatigue reduced by 63% and a 51% reduction in back pain. “This proven testing; coupled with our mid-price point; industry-best 7-year warranty; and being the only truly environmentally-friendly product in the comfort mat market separates the Imprint Mats by Sublime from the competition,” said Sublime President and CEO Philip Risk.
How is that for results? I have been using my Imprint Mat in the kitchen since May when I received one as part of the Mother’s Day Kitchen Gift Guide. Which is exactly why I gave one to my mother for Mother’s Day. It has been such a fatigue savor. And when I am not using it I put it in front of the kitchen sink because my husband complains of back pain when he does the dishes (he is very tall). I actually have heard a lot less complaining from him recently as well. [Folks, that is worth some money! he he].
Imprint mats are sold in most kitchen retail locations like Bed, Bath & Beyond, Amazon.com, LNT.com, Brookstone, and major catalogs. It is also very affordable for a anti-fatigue mat. I have had the privilege of reviewing several and have been impressed with the price point of the Imprint Mats.
So before you plan your next long oamc day, consider getting one for yourself (or put it on your wish list). Well, that is if you don’t win one in this giveaway. Does anyone want to win one instead of buying it? Oh, I have your attention now don’t I?

I would LOVE this! My old kitchen rug is definitely not doing the trick!!
This would come in handy the next 7 months since I’m pregnant!
I’ve only done OAMC once so far and I wasn’t ready for how bad my legs would hurt! I would love this mat so I don’t dread these days anymore
I’m a fan of Sublime Co on FB
I am just about to start a kitchen remodel (well a face lift more) and this would be a great addition!
I need one because like you, I love to cook just once a month and my feet and legs get SO TIRED!!!
Oh my goodness..we just moved and now have tile and it KILLS my feet! This would be awesome!
I might have to put it in the basement where I stand to fold laundry.
I have tile floors in my kitchen – and I stand ALOT at my stove- it would make my feet very happy!!!
I woud love an imprint mat for those long sessions in front of the kitchen counter while cooking and cleaning up.
Let’s see, you just want one reason?
If it is really that great it would alleviate back, hip, and foot pain.
I would looooove this, since I’m the primary dishwasher in the house– and pregnant! One place I worked had an anti-fatigue mat, and they are truly worth every penny!
That sounds so wonderful. My husband complains when doing dishes too.
I would LOVE one of these mats! Our townhouse is built on a concrete slab. Literally, the only thing between my feet and the concrete slab is a piece of linoleum.
I could use this! I spend the better part of my day in the kitchen and this would help me feel SO much better!! I’ve heard great things about these mats!
thanks for the chance!

thanks!
We have been renovating our new/old home (built in 1920) for over a year & this would make my OAMC hours, especially those when I’m preparing my 7 month old son’s food, in the kitchen SO MUCH better.
i need one for my kitchen! i’ve been longing after them for quite a while. i have a bad back and super high arches and dread working in the kitchen.
I need one since I cook for my family every night after a long day at work.
count me in to the I-have-a-tile-kitchen-floor-club-OUCH! It never occurred to me to get a mat! What a great idea! I’d love one.
This is awesome! I’ve tried different rugs in my kitchen but they always move around or the kids take off with them. I get a lot of back pain when I am cutting veggies and stuff a lot. Which I always am doing!! This would be fantastic to try! Thanks!
I would love this to use for my OAMC days – and to help my DH out when he’s doing the dishes every night
Baking and OAMC sessions can take their toll ~~ this mat would be WONDERFUL!
Thank you for the offer!
it seems that nothing in our kitchen is the right height for me when i’m working. i’ve been thinking about getting mats for the sink side and the stove side. i’m glad to hear about other people’s experiences!
This would make being barefoot in the kitchen so much better.
We too have a tile kitchen floor that seems to be pretty unforgiving when it comes to standing for long periods of time and our kitchen sink/counter area seems to be grand central station at our home where my husband and I cook, do dishes, fold laundry, pay bills, sort the mail…the list goes on. This mat would be a real blessing!
I definitely need one of these for OAMC!
My mom needs a mat. She’s always cookin in the kitchen and her tile floors are painful on her 72 year old feet!
Visiting from TILT
I’d love to have one of these mats. I used to bartend and we had these type of mats. They are AWESOME for reliving fatigue, as well as back and leg pain from standing for long periods!
I just started training for a 1/2 marathon and could definitely use some cushion-ee softness when I prepare meals! Cooking is my 1st passion and running is becoming a close 2nd – a mat will help me do both in comfort!
Tweeted about it
I would LOVE one of these for my sink area…or my stove…man…I’ll have to decide where to put it!
I would so love one of these! I have always wanted one, and I think this would be a great investment!
I am a 71 year old grandmother and my feet hurt when I stand too long in the kitchen.
I would love to win this.
I need one. It hurts my back to stoop over the sink.

Oh I need this! thanks !
I need one because my back aches all the times, and this might help get me in the kitchen more often!

I am standing almost all day (and mainly in the kitchen). My legs seem to ache daily which is why I would love one of these soooo much!

I’d love to give this to my daughter who works on her feet all night. Then works at home too, her feet, knees and back are shot.
I definitely need one of these!! I have plantar fascitis but love to cook and bake. This would help immensely!!
My mom needs one for her sink area. We’re always washing dishes because we’re constantly in the kitchen making a mess

I keep my eye on these, I hope to win one for my OAMC days:)
I’m VERY pregnant right now and this would be a HUGE relief for me! And, it might even encourage my husband to help with the dishes more often (I can dream…).
I would love an imprint mat in my kitchen. And when I’m not using it there, I’m sure my husband could use it in the garage.
My husband needs one for in front of the kitchen sink since he does all the dishes!
I would really like to have an imprint mat and I bet my cooking buddy would really appreciate it in front of my sink when she’s washing our dishes on cook day!
Oh I would SO love one of these! It would help my back SO much! Thank you!
I tweeted the contest.
I “liked” Sublime Co. on FB.
I have been eying one of these for a while. I’d love one to use for our once a month cooking!
I would love to have this in my kitchen! Thanks!
We would really enjoy having one of these in front of the stove. It would be a real feet saver!
As a nurse working 12 hour shifts, I NEVER want to stand once I get home. Thus, the dishes pile up until I have a day off. This might actually let me do the dishes on days I work!

Great ideas! Anyone know how well they fold. I work cooking for an orphanage overseas and could definitely use one of these!!
I’d like one because my legs get tired standing on the tile floor cooking.
This sounds great. I’m sure it would feel great on my feet while doing all those dishes at the sink everyday!
My feet need some kitchen lovin’!
I have always wanted an anti-fatigue mat for my kitchen – just never been in the budget! This one sounds great!
This would be fantastic when I am in the kitchen cooking.

I “liked” the Sublime Co on FB. Thanks for the giveaway!
I would absolutely love to have this mat. My kitchen floor has deep irregular grout lines (supposed to be decorative) and this would cover them up and help relive the stress I feel in my back.
I would love this mat to use while cooking. We have a tile floor on top of cement slab foundation. Hard on the feet!
I would love this, the last few years I’ve been plauged with back pain (bad car accident).
We have hard floors in the kitchen, which is great for clean up but not for our feet and backs. Hubby and I could sure use one!
I know my wife would love one of these.
I cook and hubby does dishes, we could both benefit from one of these.
Oh how I would love this. I have a bad back and can barely stand at the sink long enough to do the dishes. This would be amazing.
I became a facebook fan.
What a great giveaway! I could use one either in front of my sink or in my laundry area (where I spend A TON of time!)
With 2 young kids, I feel I’m always in the kitchen and this would help with the exhaustion I feel by the end of each meal.
