Think Ahead Thursday: OAMM Tweet-Up – What Do You Want To Know?
For this Think Ahead Thursday I want to know your thoughts and anticipations for this week’s upcoming Tweet-Up. I think that I have pulled together a great event for you, but it really is only great if you get out of it what you want/need.
So what is on your mind? What would you like Once A Month Mom to share with you? What are you hoping that I cover at this event? What are your burning once a month cooking questions?
Leave comment(s) and questions below. I will compile them into a list and hopefully try to cover as much as possible that evening. Don’t be shy, no question is off limits. And chances are if you are thinking it so is someone else. See a comment or question below that you really hope is covered, make sureĀ you second that notion so that I know what the important ones are. Thanks, and I hope that you are planning on attending. If you aren’t registered, be sure to do so, you don’t want to miss out on the prizes and giveaways!
And here is a reminder of all of the great stuff that you enter to win by being a part of this event:
- Part 1 – Miscellaneous Kitchen Products – these are all the things that don’t fall into other categories
- Part 2 – Kid Products – Products to help entertain your kids while you are cooking (or to help the babysitter out)
- Part 3 – Appliances – Appliances that will be available for hands-on review at the event
- Part 4 – Food Products – It is a cooking blog, of course there is going to be food for all!

How the heck does a complete newbie start? I’m so overwhelmed that I cannot even figure out where to begin planning for OAMC. Complete and utter newbie here. I don’t even cook regular dinners (my husband does all the cooking) so maybe trying to cook OAM is over my head.
What kind of containers do you like to use when freezing?
Tips to make the big cooking day go faster! My sister and I always end up cooking for 12 hours straight (or more) no matter what we do!
I’d like to know, on average, what the grocery bill looks like when you do the BIG shop for the month…lol. I know we dropped our bill down by about 25% b/c we weren’t buying so many premade items. But we’ve done the two-week session and are going to give the OAMC a real go this coming weekend (after the TweetUp, which I’m going to participate in via Twitter only).
Also – what are some good ways to get your children involved? My daughter is 6 and can’t really help with prep too much that I can think of…
