“To Find You” CD Giveaway

For the last several years we have had the privilege (my family and Cortney’s) to worship at Apex Community Church. One of the reasons I (Tricia) have loved it so much (other than the fantastic preaching of the Word by Rob Turner) is the incredible worship led by Phil Wing! Now, Phil is going to start reading this and immediately email me and tell me that I went too far praising him. He is THAT guy. You know the one that is super incredibly nice and NEVER wants the spot light. That’s part of what makes him the great worship leader that he is; his humbleness, reliance on the Lord, and his incredible desire to share Christ with others. All things you want from a worship leader, right? But I don’t really even need to tell you how great he is because all you need to do is hear his music to know that God has truly blessed this man with some amazing gifts.

So, with all of that said, we are glad to be bringing you this week’s giveaway! Phil, his wife Amber, and their two children Maya and Gibson, are going to be adopting a child from Ethiopia soon! Phil has put together this CD as a fundraiser for bringing their child home. Read their story below, take a listen to some of Phil’s songs, and enter to win the CD (or better yet, help them out and just order it here – $11.50 shipped)!

Here’s a note from Phil and Amber:

It’s hard to explain what God has done in the life of our family to bring us to this point.  Not because it’s unclear, but rather that it’s so huge.  Six years ago we were being told that having kids would be very difficult for us…and it was.  God led the way for us though.  After a couple years of struggling, God blessed us with our two wonderful children, Gibson and Maya.  We had started looking into adoption beforehand, but for some reason, even after our children joined our family, the desire to adopt just grew deeper.  And it wasn’t just adoption, God was clearly reminding us of His commands to love and serve the “least of these”; the poor, the lonely, and the needy.  We knew we had to change the way we lived to better reflect those commands.  We were being led to adopt and after a lot of prayer, Ethiopia was our clear path.  We began our paperwork almost one year ago.  We should be receiving our referral (our child’s picture and information) within the next few months.  We cannot wait to see our child’s face, and better yet, travel to Ethiopia and hold him or her in our arms!  This has been an amazing journey, and God has been faithful to provide for us in every way.  We are so glad that Phil has been able to use his talents to create this CD.  100% of all sales go towards bringing our child home.  You can visit our adoption blog at www.wingadoption.blogspot.com and our other family happenings at www.mamalovesadeal.blogspot.com.

You can enter this contest up to three times! And don’t be shy and not enter if you know the Wing’s or have already purchased the CD. Surely you have a friend that might enjoy it! Here is how to enter:

Wow! That is so cool that you go to Apex. We saw Rob Turner speak at a youth conference this past summer and he was amazing. We continue to download some of his sermons and, for a while, my husband was obsessed with the thought of moving to Dayton! He likes the house church idea. We will be moving from Florida to Louisville soon, so my hubby can attend seminary there. We are always looking for good sermons, churches, ideas, and worship music. Thanks for this information and keeping us all equipped with some good music. :)

Small world! Rob is a great speaker and one of the reasons we WON’T be moving away from Dayton anytime soon. I will pass along your positive comment.
