Running an in-home daycare, I don’t have hours to spend preparing meals and snacks on a daily basis. I rely on these tried and true recipes (which my freezer is stocked full of) to offer the children in my care, as well as my own, a variety of delicious and healthy meals and snacks throughout the week. Most of these recipes have come straight from my freezer/menu plan rotation to the May Baby Toddler Menu.
The Baby & Toddler Food menu is designed for you to make life feeding your baby/toddler homemade food a little easier. We are not pediatricians, please seek counsel from them on timing, allergies and food sensitivities. These menus are simply designed for ease of parents and not necessarily adhere to dietary guidelines. If you are new and not sure how to get started we have a wonderful series starting with 5 easy steps to get you on your way to once a month cooking. Good luck!

Test Cooks
Each month we have some wonderful volunteers who “test” out the menu prior to publication. They do an amazing job of helping to eliminate confusion and mistakes. They may not catch everything but they sure do catch A LOT! If you are interested in test cook, feel free to volunteer. Here is a little bit about this month’s test cooks:
- Heidi McGuire is a mom of two delightful children, aged 1.5 and 4. Since returning to work full-time she has realized the value in preparing meals ahead of time to avoid the weeknight rush to eat before heading out for nightly activities.
- Heather Woyak is a Southern mama of 2 sweet little boys and the wife to an amazing husband. You can come visit the House anytime to learn more about our family and see what we are up to these days. http://houseofwoyaks.blogspot.com

What age is this menu for? The title says 12-18 months, but the picture says 18+ months. Thaks!

Do you have to click on each link to each recipe to get directions on how to prepare each meal? When I click on the printable recipe cards there are no ingredients or directions listed…am I doing something wrong? Thanks

Brand new to the ‘toddler world’ of cooking and having difficulty getting the little dude to eat his veggies already! Looking forward to following you as I see you’ve come up with a great system and I’ve just started freezing meals myself. Keep em’ coming! :)
in the oatmeal pancakes am I to use quick oats (or something similar) or already prepared oatmeal?
Robyn – Quick Oats would be the suggested type to use.
