To err is human. . .That is my motto, or at least it is going to be from now on. Lest you think I am perfect I do admit that there are mistakes from time to time in the menus, grocery lists, instructions. I create them and then I shop along with all of you (I wan the savings too) and then I find the mistakes like the rest of you do when I cook. Except when readers cook before me they get the pleasure of finding mistakes. I always read over the feedback that readers include and make adjustments where needed.
In cases like this one where I know many of you have already printed out grocery lists and such I do an update post so that you can make the necessary changes. Here is what has been discovered that you will want to note:
Sour Cream
This was missing from the grocery list but needed for the freezer mashed potatoes. Sorry! I have added it. If you have already started on your grocery list make sure to add 16 oz of sour cream to your list.
Onions
Yes, I did a little math wrong. It is suppose to be 18 medium onions. That doesn’t equal 36 cups it equals 9 cups. Multiply, divide, I get a little confused now and again. Also, 4 of those onions will get cut into rings not diced so you really only have to dice 14 medium onions which is about 7 cups. Wow, that is a lot less tears to shed!
Mushrooms
When I was looking at the cups to pounds equivalents I looked in the wrong location. Turns out we only need 1.5 lbs NOT 4 lbs. Feel free to use extra if you like mushrooms though!
There may be more but these are the must knows! Have fun with the menu and know that 96.8% of it is right. (For the 3.2% that isn’t, just wing it!)

Also– I think the serving of the rolls may be wrong. It said 16, but I think it should be 32. We ended up with way more than 16 rolls. We had a ton of onions left over, but no worries:) Thanks for all your work!
