WFMW: 2010 No Cook Recipes

You know what “works for me”? Not cooking works for me! And lots of other people it turns out as well. There has been a lot of chatter lately about the OAMM No Cook Recipe post I did back in late 2009. And rightfully so since, you know, it is nearly 100 degrees here right now. Who in their right mind wants to think about cooking during this heat? Not I!

There are a lot of great recipes referenced in that post but I thought in light of the hub-bub around the wonder of no-cook recipes, I would give you a master list of those no-cook recipes we have had in 2010! That way you have more fun stuff to choose from. Enjoy

These are the recipes that require NO COOKING prior to being frozen. On the monthly menus these are indicated by **. If you are looking for an incredibly simple freezer cooking day, simply print out the recipe cards for these recipes using the “printable X menu” and simply assemble and freeze. It doesn’t get much easier than that!

You can make the single recipe by clicking through the recipe link or if you are looking for the recipe card for making bulk batches and freezing, simply click on the month’s menu link and proceed to the “printable X menu” (X=month) where you can print that recipe card.

Here they are by type of meat, including the month’s menu they were featured:

Italian Flank Steak Pinwheels

Beef

Chicken

Pork

Seafood

Frozen Fruit Cups

Meatless

  4. This is what I love about freezer cooking! I love to just assemble it all at once and then just thaw and shove in the oven. SOOOOOOO much easier! I have been so waiting to make your sicilian meatloaf, it’s been bookmarked since you first posted it!

  5. Great list! Thanks for the info!

  6. This is a great post, and really timely! Did you see Mark Bittman on the Today show this morning making only no-cook dinners?
